My heart is deeply moved. I was introduced to the organization called Love 146 today. I had previously wondered what the significance of the number 146 was. I found out...that it was the number given to a little girl in a brothel. In a room full of children, she was the only one who still had life in her eyes. The thought of this hit my heart. My eyes changed from a quick cheerful flutter to a strong steady gaze. I know in my heart that I cannot allow these injustices to happen while I sit safely in my home. I cannot ignore what's happening in the world. I want to go and help. I want to pick these girls up and take them to safety. I want to go and empower the people who have been kept down.
